Having good English skills is essential for our academic, professional, and everyday lives. However, children find difficult to express their ideas in the new language. Eventhough The traditional learning systems are academicaly designed to learn the whole areas of communication, they feel fear and shyness; affecting their communication skills when facing up a real situation in English.
Immersion English (ie) For Children pretends to enforce the English already learned at school by focusing on Full-Conversation live lessons with our tutors.
Applying a similar strategy used for adults, Immersion English (ie) For Children comes with a sequence that compliments the four skills of conversation: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing; but stressing on Conversation and Communication of English as a Second Language.

IEFC-001.......READING FOR PRONUNCIATION.
Kids will work on a role-playing reading (text or dialogues) with the teacher in order to improve his/her pronunciation and intonation.
IEFC-002......KEY VOCABULARY
The teacher underlines some new vocabulary considered important to the kids to know. Also children are encourage to ask any question related to new words or expressions appearing onto the text.
The teacher is open to answer in detail the meanings by explaining in a simple and basic way and/or illustrating with pictures what each of the words or expressions stand for.
Important Notice: A notebook and handipen is suggested to write down all the information studied in class.
IEFC-003.......SPEECH ( QUESTION-ANSWER-EXPLANATION)
Yet involving the same topic seen in class, there will be a group of sentences chosen by the teacher; the students should explain, upon their teacher's guidance, what he or she understands.
IEFC-004......LISTENING (AUDIO-COMPRENHENSION)
The children will listen to a recording regarding to the text or dialogue studied. The purpose of this exercise is to relate the student with the vocabulary read early, expecting them to remember those words and expressions by listening only.
IEFC-005.......COMPRENHENSION
A series of questions about the text or dialogue studied will be asked instructing the student to answer back with a long-answer pattern. The children will be instructed of how to structure a sentence correctly.
IEFC-006.......WRITING.
Brief essays, written expositions, as well as answering written questions, will be requested as an extra work to be reviewed and qualified by the teachers via emails.
IEFC-008.......GRAMMAR
Verbal tenses in context, in addition to those important elements to be applied during the conversation will be taught without putting aside the main focus of the course.
Important Notice: This program is suggestable for those children over six years of age.
At this point, teachers are expecting them to know how to write and read according to their academic level. Also it is important them to know how to use a few features of SKYPETM.
Adult participation is recommended during their first experience with online learning.

Your kid sits at a computer and log in their SKYPETM account in order to set the Voice Call (VoIP) so that they may speak to their teacher.
A high speed internet connection and a good state headset or microphone is suggested to avoid technical issues during the class.

The assigned teacher starts the call at a convenient time, and introduces him/herself by explaining the topic to be seen during the class as well as pasting a link that takes your kid toward a Google Docs* document that will be used as board by the teacher.
Our International English Learning tutors have found this Google's tool an excellent way to share texts, photos, and didactical material to be studied in class.
